Background & Experience
Phillip Vu has served a variety of roles with Community Health Partnership since 2013, including Quality Improvement Coordinator, Information Technology Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and now as a Project Manager. In these roles, Phillip has assisted in conducting various focus groups, provided health coaching, coordinated Continuing Medical Education trainings, and trained over 350 health clinic staff in CI CARE (Patient Centered Communication). His previous professional experience is with the Behavioral Health Department for Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital Systems as an Associate Management Analyst. Phillip has also traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico, for a cultural student immersion project, which involved conducting health fairs and providing health education for the locals. During his time at San Jose State University, also served as a Peer Health Educator in the areas of violence prevention, body image, and chronic diseases. Phillip believes in advocating for affordable and accessible health services for diverse and multicultural communities as evident by his dedicated work at CHP.
