Jeremy Barousse serves as the Deputy Director of Advocacy and Civic Engagement at Community Health Partnership, where he works with patients from the community health centers to find their voice and build power to advocate for better services. He also oversees the grassroots organizing for diabetes campaign to decrease diabetes rates among low-income communities of color in Santa Clara County.

Jeremy was born and raised in San Jose. For 8 years, he worked for Services, Immigrant Rights and Education Network (SIREN), where he served as the Director of Civic Engagement and as a Community Organizer, where he helped to build political power among immigrant and youth communities to drive change. Before his time at SIREN, Jeremy worked as a political organizer for numerous local unions where he organized around workers’ rights issues in Silicon Valley.
