Background & Experience
Ms. Ezquerro has served as Community Health Partnership's Covered California Master Trainer for the Affordable Care Act and Certified Enrollment Counselor
since 2012, which has allowed her to assist hundreds of clients to qualify for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act, Covered California,
Medi-Cal, and Medicaid expansion programs.
During her career at CHP, Ms. Ezquerro served as a community Parent Coach for both Stanford Children’s Health and Parent Institute for Quality Education. For over 15 years, she held the role of Health Promotora and Health Navigator for various non-profit agencies where she brought healthcare coverage information directly into the community, targeting immigrant families with children.
Currently, Ms. Ezquerro assists with CHP's coordination efforts in Health Coverage, including programs such as Covered California, Medi-Cal, and the Santa Clara County's Primary Care Access Program. When not providing technical support to CHP’s member Community Health Centers, she spends her time in the community educating, screening, and enrolling clients in health coverage.
An avid traveler who has visited several continents Ms. Ezquerro has seen, first hand, the impacts of substandard or nonexistent healthcare. As a bay area resident of over three decades, she remains committed to ensuring that immigrant families have access to the services they need to thrive.
