Background & Experience
In Anna Jeon’s current role, she coordinates, implements, and evaluates Every Woman Counts and the Community Mammography Access Project program activities. Through these programs, she supervises ten Community Health Workers; networks and collaborates with key leaders and agencies that work with our priority population; delivers outreach and health education on the topic of breast and cervical cancer to low income, uninsured women in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties; and provides patient navigation services to women. Anna’s previous experience includes working as a research assistant at Stanford University on the subjects of smoking cessation and immunization. She has also served as a program manager at the Eating Disorders Resource Center. She has a passion for working with adults; teaching and promoting healthy behaviors; women’s health; advocacy; and providing free health education for underserved communities.
