Alicia Duncan is the daughter of Mexican immigrants; whose mother was an activist in the United Farm Workers; planning strikes alongside Cesar César Chavez to improve working conditions and ensure the rights of migrant workers in the U.S. She is a proud advocate from Yuma, Arizona; with values rooted in community transformation and racial equity in agriculture.

She was first introduced to Community Health Partnership in 2019 and right away knew she had found her community; a place where her family’s lived experiences were seen as an asset and the place that would play an instrumental role in the further development of her values.

Throughout her 28 years in the Medical and Hospital community, she has developed her skills in Medical Billing, AP/Payroll and Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management. Alicia currently serves as our Program Coordinator II and HR Liaison. She works with the team to ensure projects have the support and resources needed, and assists with EWC patient navigation, and CEO administrative support. She is also a current member of SHRM and a firm believer that we’re all an integral part of the fabric of strong communities and expanding workforces.
