On Friday, January 27, 2017, President Donald Trump signed the “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States” executive order, calling for temporary suspension of visas to people from “terror-prone countries.” The order also calls for the suspension of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) for 120 days, an indefinite ban on the resettlement of Syrian refugees, and a reduction in the number of refugees allowed to enter the U.S. from about 110,00 ..
