Background & Experience

Cathryn Hyde comes to Community Health Partnership with 30+ years of service in the public sector and 20+ years of public policy experience. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning, Ms. Hyde most recently served for 16 years as Constituent Services Director for Congressman Mike Honda who represented California's Silicon Valley. Ms. Hyde also arrives with considerable experience at the County government level having served four members of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors as a senior policy advisor.

As CHP’s Research Policy Analyst, Ms. Hyde has extensive experience in immigration, veteran’s affairs, Social Security and Medicare, grants, and advocacy. Her knowledge of the Affordable Care Act at the federal level and her passion for promoting and protecting accessible and culturally competent healthcare for all led her to Community Health Partnership where she hopes to continue her lifelong commitment to public service.
